[Rare] King Seiko J14102E 1st SS 25 Jewels Hand-wound Overhauled 1963 Seiko

Alongside Seiko's top-of-the-line Grand Seiko, the King Seiko is positioned as its highest-ranking counterpart.

This is the first model of the high-precision King Seiko watch, manufactured by the Daini Seikosha Kameido factory with the goal of achieving "Swiss Chronometer" standards.

It was released in 1961, the year after the Grand Seiko's debut, and was manufactured for about three years.

It is a top-tier model that boasts specifications comparable to the Grand Seiko but utilizes a movement with a 2mm smaller diameter.

The silver dial features a sunray finish with fine radial lines, exuding an elegant brilliance.

The "KING SEIKO" inscription is present at the 12 o'clock position on the dial, and an "AD" mark (appliqué dial) is at the 6 o'clock position.

It features a simple yet powerful design with thick bar indices and dolphin hands.

Initially, only gold-filled cases were available, but stainless steel cases were added later. Stainless steel cases are produced in smaller numbers, and specimens remaining in good condition are extremely rare.

With a case diameter of 34.9mm and a thickness of 9.5mm, it's a perfect fit for those with slender wrists.

This item has been overhauled and exterior-finished by our store and is ready for immediate use.

The band has been replaced with a new (genuine) one, so you can use it comfortably.

The crown is engraved with an "S" mark. There is no wear on the crown head, allowing for comfortable crown operation.

There are no noticeable scratches on the case, dial, or crystal, and it is in extremely beautiful condition.

The shield logo on the case back also remains in excellent condition, making it highly recommended for collectors.

As it is nearly half a century old, it is not waterproof. Please handle with care to avoid impacts.
