商品説明
This is a rare Rado Golden Horse model with 57 jewels.
The 57-jewel model is the top-of-the-line Golden Horse, produced in limited quantities to commemorate the birth of the Rado brand in 1957.
The Golden Horse was a popular model featuring Swiss-made automatic winding (with manual winding mechanism) and a waterproof case (to contemporary standards).
A common feature of the Horse series is the seahorse (Seahorse), Rado's icon for waterproof cases, placed on the dial and case back.
This particular piece has two seahorses facing each other on the dial and case back.
The screw-back case back is engraved with 'Water-Sealed'.
(Please use as non-waterproof as it is an older watch.)
The seahorse logo is placed in a size that covers most of the case back.
It features an attractive design combining mirror finish and satin finish.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial is Rado's brand symbol, the 'anchor mark', which rotates occasionally with wrist movement.
The hour markers at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock are in a rare wedge shape.
The movement is an automatic movement based on A. Schild's AS1789.
Among the 57-jewel models, the gold-plated models seem to be less common than the stainless steel models.
There are age-related scratches, but no noticeable plating peeling on the case.
This is a good-looking piece for a gold-plated model.
How to operate Cal. AS1789
Manual winding: Crown in normal position, rotate upwards
Time setting: Pull the crown, rotate downwards (second hand does not stop)
Quick date change: Pull the crown, move between '8:25 PM and 12:00 AM' during time setting
1) Move the hands to 12 AM (24:00).
If the date changes, it's 12 AM. If it doesn't change, it's 12 PM.
2) Once you've confirmed the date has changed, move the hands back to 8:25 PM.
This prepares for displaying the next day's calendar.
3) Advance the hands to 12 AM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat steps 1) to 3) to advance the date one day at a time.
Please operate slowly to reduce the strain on the movement.

There are faint cracks, but the legibility of the dial is not an issue.
