[Rare] Grand Seiko 5641-7005, 18K Solid Gold Case, Original Buckle, Automatic, Serviced, Manufactured in 1971 (Showa 46)

This is a solid 18K gold Grand Seiko from 1971.

The tonneau-shaped case is made of solid 18K gold and emits an elegant luster.
The dial features a delicate silk-grain pattern and a polished finish, creating beautiful shadows depending on the angle of the light.
With a color tone one shade lighter than the solid gold case, it gives a noble impression.

The movement is the automatic 'Cal. 5641A'.
This was the final mechanical Grand Seiko caliber designed to be thin, compact, and lightweight.
It is equipped with manual-winding and hacking (seconds-hand stop) functions, and is a non-date model.

While the stainless steel 56GS sold for approximately 40,000 yen at the time of its release,
this solid gold model was a top-tier luxury item sold for approximately 200,000 yen.

It is a very rare model with a low circulation volume.
Furthermore, it is scarce to find an individual in such beautiful condition on the dial, complete with its original GS crown and original solid 18K gold buckle.
Recommended for someone who will treat it with care.

How to Operate

How to pull out the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and pull it out gently.

Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Operating it gently will reduce the strain on the crown.

Manual Winding: In the normal crown position, rotate upwards.
 

Time Adjustment: Pull out the crown and rotate downwards.

The second hand will stop.

Condition

This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished by our shop.
 

The strap has been replaced with a brand-new genuine crocodile leather strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
The buckle is the rare original and is solid 18K gold.
There is an 18K hallmark on the inside of the buckle.
 

There are minor scratches on the crystal, but the visibility of the dial remains excellent.
The crown is also original and functions normally.

Due to its age, this watch is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days or during hot weather.
