This is a 1960s Movado manual-winding model.
Case width is 35.9mm, and it features a screw-back case.
The front of the case and the bezel have a mirror finish, giving it a simple and elegant design.
The crown is original to Movado and features the MV logo.
The crystal has a date magnifier on the inside.
The silver dial features a vertical hairline finish.
The applied MV brand logo is positioned at the 12 o'clock side, serving as an accent to the dial design.
The word "SWITZERLAND" is printed on the edge at the 6 o'clock position.
The crown is 5.1mm in diameter, making it easy to grip and operate.
How to operate
Manual-winding: Rotate upwards while the crown is in the normal position.
Time setting: Pull out the crown and rotate downwards.
The second hand does not stop.
Date quick-set: Pull out the crown and cycle back and forth between "8:20 PM and 12:00 AM" to adjust the time.
1) Advance the hands until midnight (24:00).
If the date changes, it is midnight. If it does not, it is noon.
2) Advance the hands to 24:00 so the next date is displayed. After that, move the hands back to 8:20 PM.
3) Advance the hands to 24:00.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
By repeating this process, you can advance the date one day at a time.
To reduce the strain on the movement, please operate slowly.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished by our shop.
The strap has been replaced with a new one from Di-Modell, so you can wear it with comfort.
There is a crack on the side of the crystal at the 9 o'clock position.
Due to its age, this watch is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days or on hot days.
Also, please be careful of shocks and magnetism.
