This is a manual-winding alarm watch from Revue Thommen, the "Cricket."
The "Cricket" series is famous as a model favored by successive U.S. presidents (including the 34th president, Dwight D. Eisenhower).
Because the alarm sound resembles the chirping of a cricket, it is affectionately called the "Cricket" (its English name), making it an interesting and highly discussed model.
The dial features a linear geometric pattern across its entire surface.
This pattern was adopted in the Cricket series and emits an elegant radiance.
It is equipped with the "Caliber AS1930" movement.
There are two mainsprings: one for the "alarm" and one for "timekeeping."
For the alarm function, the case back has a double-layer structure to enhance acoustic effects.
The alarm sound is produced when a vibrating hammer strikes a "protrusion" on the inner case back.

Operating Instructions for Caliber AS1930
Winding the timekeeping mainspring: Rotate the crown at the 4 o'clock position upwards while in the normal position.
Setting the time: Pull out the crown at the 4 o'clock position and rotate it downwards.
If you rotate it upwards, the hour hand and the alarm hand will overlap and move together.
Winding the alarm mainspring: Rotate the crown at the 2 o'clock position upwards while in the normal position.
Setting the alarm time: Pull out the crown at the 2 o'clock position and rotate it downwards.
The alarm hand on the inner part of the dial will move to the left.
Align the hand with your desired alarm time, then push the crown back in to complete the setting.
Turning the alarm ON: Pull out the crown at the 2 o'clock position.
Turning the alarm OFF: Return the crown at the 2 o'clock position to the normal position.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and externally polished by our shop.
The leather strap has been replaced with a brand new Di-Modell strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
The buckle is original.
While there are some minor scratches on the case, the dial is in beautiful condition.
As this is a USED item, it does not come with a water resistance warranty.
Please also be careful to avoid shocks and magnetic fields.
