商品説明
This is Japan's finest, the Grand Seiko Second Model.
Production of the Grand Seiko Second Model began in 1964, four years after the First Model.
Compared to the First Model, it featured an added date display (with quick-set function).
The screw-back case allows for 50m water resistance (at the time of manufacture).
Its practicality has been improved.
This particular model features a Lion Medallion on the case back, making it a rare Second Model with low production numbers.
The dial is an early type, with "Grand Seiko Diashock 35 jewels" printed at the 6 o'clock position (later types would switch to the GS logo).
The applied markers that were printed on the very first dials have been abolished, resulting in a cleaner design.
The indices and hour/minute hands are multi-faceted with a mirror finish, giving off an elegant shine.
The case material is stainless steel.
The thicker lugs also improve durability and give it a strong presence.
