This is a hand-wound alarm watch, the Revue Thommen "Cricket."
The "Cricket" series is famous for being favored by past U.S. presidents (such as the 34th President, Dwight D. Eisenhower).
Its alarm sound is said to resemble the chirping of a cricket, which led to its nickname "Cricket (English name)," making it an interesting and noteworthy model.
The dial features a full surface of linear geometric patterns.
This pattern was used in the Cricket series and gives off an elegant gleam.
The movement installed is the "Caliber AS1930."
There are two mainsprings: one for the "alarm" and one for the "watch movement."
For the alarm function, the case back has a double-layer structure to enhance acoustic effects.
The sound is produced by a vibrating hammer striking a "protrusion" on the case back.

How to Operate Caliber AS1930
Winding the watch movement mainspring: Turn the crown at 4 o'clock upwards in its normal position.
Setting the time: Pull out the crown at 4 o'clock and turn it downwards.
If you turn it upwards, the hour hand and alarm hand will overlap and move together.
Winding the alarm mainspring: Turn the crown at 2 o'clock upwards in its normal position.
Setting the alarm time: Pull out the crown at 2 o'clock and turn it downwards.
The alarm hand on the inner dial will turn to the left.
Align the hand with the desired time, then push in the crown to complete the alarm time setting.
Turning the alarm ON: Pull out the crown at 2 o'clock.
Turning the alarm OFF: Return the crown at 2 o'clock to its normal position.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and had its exterior polished at our store.
The leather strap has been replaced with a new (non-OEM) one, making it ready for comfortable use.
The buckle is original.
There are minor scratches on the case, but the dial is in beautiful condition.
As this is a USED item, there is no waterproofing guarantee.
Please also be careful of impacts and magnetism.
