商品説明
This is Revue Thommen's alarm watch, the Cricket.
The Cricket is famous as a model favored by past US Presidents (such as the 34th President, Dwight D. Eisenhower).
Its alarm sound is said to resemble the chirping of a cricket, which earned it the nickname "Cricket (English name)," making it an interesting and talked-about model.
The dial features a full pattern of linear geometric designs.
This pattern, used in the Cricket series, emits an elegant sparkle.
There are two mainsprings: one for the alarm and one for keeping time.
How to Operate
Time setting: Pull the crown out to the second click and rotate downwards
The hands will move clockwise. (You cannot move them counter-clockwise or backward.)
Winding the mainspring for timekeeping: With the crown in its normal position, rotate downwards
Winding the mainspring for the alarm: With the crown in its normal position, rotate upwards
Setting the alarm time: Lightly press the 2 o'clock button to pull the crown out to the first click, then press the 2 o'clock button all the way in to pull the crown out to the second click, and rotate the crown upwards
If you press the 2 o'clock button all the way in at once, it may cause a malfunction.
Please press the button in two steps.
The alarm hand on the inner dial will move counter-clockwise. (It cannot move clockwise.)
Move the hand to the desired alarm time and return the crown to its normal position to turn the alarm ON
Turning the alarm ON: Return the crown to its normal position
Even if the alarm is ON, it will not sound if the alarm mainspring is not wound.
If the alarm mainspring is not wound, the alarm hammer will be free, and it is normal to hear a rattling sound when shaking the watch.
Turning the alarm OFF: Lightly press the 2 o'clock button to pull the crown out to the first click
Perform this operation even if you want to stop a sounding alarm.
In the state where "the button is pressed and the crown is at the first click," it is normal for the crown to spin freely when turned.
