A 1964 Lord Marvel with a rare 18K solid gold case.
The Lord Marvel, first produced in May 1958, is a top-tier model that enhanced and refined the Marvel's luxury and precision.
The movement's jewel count increased from 17 jewels to 23 jewels.
The movement's exterior also received elaborate finishes, such as engraved and mirror-finished barrel bridges and polished screws.
All these techniques were later inherited by the Grand Seiko, which began production in 1960.
The dial features a radial finish.
It is adorned with the Seiko Lord Marvel cursive logo and gold bar indexes, creating a simple yet elegant impression.
The case is made of 18K solid gold.
This is a rare piece, as most Lord Marvel watches have gold-filled cases.
It features long lugs with a three-sided mirror finish.
The design creates a smart, sleek vertical line.
While early Lord Marvel case backs were rounded,
this one has a flat back, making it comfortable to wear.
The movement inside is the "Caliber 5740A."
This movement features a hacking seconds device, and a serial number is engraved on the movement.
Without a calendar, there's no need to set it, making operation simple and easy to handle.

How to operate
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position
It's easier to grip the crown between your index finger and thumb and slide it.
Pulling the crown: Gently pull out the crown by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to detach. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Gentle operation reduces strain on the crown.
Time setting: Pull the crown and rotate it downwards
The second hand will stop.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and exterior polished by our shop.
The strap has been replaced with a new cowhide strap (genuine), making it comfortable to wear.
The buckle is genuine SEIKO (gold plated), and the plating is peeling.
The buckle's pin was deteriorated, so it has been replaced with a similar design.
A rare Lord Marvel box is included.
It has a dedicated Lord Marvel design, which makes it an interesting collector's item.
The case has minor scratches, but it is in good condition considering its manufacturing year.
Since 18K solid gold is softer than stainless steel, we recommend not tightening the strap too much to avoid putting excessive stress on the lugs.
The crystal has minor scratches that could not be removed by polishing.
The crown has scuff marks. The crown head has an S-mark.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, be careful of shocks and magnetism.
