商品説明
This is a 1960 OMEGA Constellation "Ref.14393-9-SC".
"SC" means center second.
The dial has a vertical hairline finish, with linear decorations appearing depending on the angle of light.
It features gold-colored hands, indices, and an Ω logo, giving it a luxurious feel.
The hands are dolphin hands, seen in 1960s Omega watches, with black lines on the hour and minute hands, similar to the indices.
The case is CAP GOLD.
Cap gold has a very thick layer of gold covering a stainless steel case.
It is characterized by a thicker gold layer than gold plating or gold filled, and is a specification seen in high-end products of the 1960s.
The case back is made of stainless steel and is a screw-back type.
The gold observatory logo also remains clean.
Constellations with a gold observatory logo are relatively few, giving it a special feel.
The movement installed is "Caliber 561".
This is a chronometer-certified movement adopted for the high-end "Constellation" model.
It features Omega's characteristic red gold plating, exuding the dignity of a high-end watch.
The gentle gold hue of the case prevents it from being too flashy, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of an antique watch.
Recommended for those looking for an elegant antique watch.
How to operate Caliber 561
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards in the normal position
Time setting: Pull the crown out one click and rotate downwards
Quick date change: Pull the crown out one click and move the hands back and forth between "9:30 PM and 12:05 AM" during time setting
1) Move the hands to 12:05 AM (0:05).
If the date changes, it's 12 AM. If it doesn't, it's 12 PM.
2) Once you've confirmed the date has changed, move the hands back to 9:30 PM.
This prepares the calendar to display the next day.
3) Advance the hands to 12:05 AM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat steps 1) to 3) to advance the date one day at a time.
Please operate slowly to reduce the strain on the movement.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior finished by our store.
The strap has been replaced with a new one (made by Morellato), so you can use it comfortably.
The buckle has an Ω mark, but there is no engraving on the back, so it is likely an aftermarket product.
The crystal is genuine Omega. It has a subtle Ω mark in the center.
There are minor scratches that could not be removed by polishing, but the dial visibility is good.
The crown has an Ω mark.
The case back is a screw-back type, and the observatory medallion remains.
Due to its age, it is not water resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, be careful of impact and magnetism.
