商品説明
This is the Revue Thommen alarm watch, the Cricket 1997.
The Cricket is famous as a model favored by past US presidents (such as the 34th President, Dwight D. Eisenhower).
It is affectionately known as the Cricket because its alarm sound resembles the chirping of a cricket, making it an interesting and talked-about model.
The dial is bluish, and can also appear purple.
The indexes and hands have luminous paint.
The glass is scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
It contains two mainsprings: one for the alarm and one for keeping time.
The alarm volume is louder than expected, making it practical for use.
Operating Instructions
Setting the time: Pull the crown out to the second click and turn it downwards.
The hands move clockwise. (Cannot move counter-clockwise or set time backward)
Winding the mainspring for timekeeping: With the crown in its normal position, turn it downwards.
Winding the mainspring for the alarm: With the crown in its normal position, turn it upwards.
Setting the alarm time: Lightly press the button at 2 o'clock to pull the crown out to the first click, then press the button at 2 o'clock all the way in to pull the crown out to the second click, and turn the crown upwards.
Pressing the button at 2 o'clock all the way in at once will cause a malfunction.
Please perform the button pressing operation in two steps.
The alarm hand on the inner dial moves counter-clockwise. (Cannot move clockwise)
Move the hand to the desired alarm time and return the crown to its normal position to turn the alarm ON.
Turning the alarm ON: Return the crown to its normal position.
Even if the alarm is ON, it will not sound if the alarm mainspring is not wound.
When the alarm mainspring is not wound, the alarm hammer is free, and a clicking sound when shaking the watch is normal.
Turning the alarm OFF: Lightly press the button at 2 o'clock to pull the crown out to the first click.
Perform this operation even if you want to stop an alarm that is currently sounding.
In the "button pressed and crown pulled to the first click" state, turning the crown will cause it to spin freely, which is normal.
