商品説明
This is a hand-wound model from IWC (International Watch Company) manufactured in the 1960s.
The design, with its flowing case extending to the lugs, is a representative style of IWC in the 1960s. Although it doesn't have a model number, it can be considered the prototype of the design later known as "Ref. 347A."
Due to many years of aging, the dial has developed a unique texture, giving it the charm of an antique watch. The pearl dots placed on the outer edge add a subtle yet elegant touch of individuality. The mirror-polished indexes emit a refined glow without being flashy. The cursive "International Watch Co." logo at the 12 o'clock position is another appealing feature unique to models from this era.
The movement is a hand-wound Cal. 89. Characterized by its thick, large bridges, it is a masterpiece that combines IWC's beautiful aesthetics with ease of maintenance.
The crown, with a diameter of approximately 5mm, is easy to grasp, allowing for smooth winding. There is little wear on the crown, which is often seen in hand-wound watches, indicating its excellent condition.
How to Operate
How to pull the crown: Gently pull out the crown by inserting a fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to detach. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist when operating it.
Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown.
Manual Winding: Rotate upwards with the crown in its normal position.
When winding the mainspring, rotate the crown slowly and carefully in an upward direction.
When you start winding, the crown may feel light, but it will become heavier as it winds up.
For hand-wound watches, the mainspring will break if you force it to wind when it has reached its stopping point. Please be careful.
