商品説明
This is the second model of the King Seiko, the non-date "44-2000" which appeared in 1963.
King Seiko is a series positioned at the highest rank alongside Seiko's top-class "Grand Seiko" and was manufactured until the 1970s.
The second model is equipped with a hack function (seconds hand regulating device), which was omitted in the first model.
The adoption of a screw-back case improves practicality. (Stainless steel models only)
The 44-2000 inherits the design of the 15034 (King Seiko's first model), with the movement changed to 44KS and a new second-generation dial design adopted.
The case and case back design are the same shape as the 15034, and the material is gold-filled.
The model number 44-2000 is engraved on the inside of the case back.
The second model has different case back specifications depending on the material; the stainless steel version has a screw-back specification, and this gold-filled version has a snap-back specification.
In the dial design, the SEIKO logo is at the 12 o'clock position, and the KING SEIKO logo is moved to 6 o'clock.
The SD mark and AD mark indicating the material of the index are absent in the 44-2000.
This particular unit is a later model of the 44-2000, and has the lightning bolt mark indicating manufacture by Daini Seikosha (Kameido Factory) below the KING SEIKO logo.
The entire dial has a sunray finish, giving it a simple yet luxurious feel.

Differences in dial design of 44-2000 (later model) compared to 15034 (example)
In the later model 44-2000, the "Diashock" text disappears from the dial, and the lightning bolt mark indicating manufacture by Daini Seikosha (Kameido Factory) is placed below it.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished.
The belt has been replaced with a new (genuine) one, so you can use it comfortably.
The entire dial has aged to a beautiful champagne gold color, which is a unique charm of this individual piece.
There are minor scratches on the case. There are dents on the side of the lower left lug and on the case back.
The dial and the medallion on the case back remain in good condition.
The crown has some wear but is genuine with an S mark.
As this is an old watch, it is not waterproof. Do not use it in environments with a lot of moisture (on rainy days, when washing your face, wearing it on hot days when you sweat, etc.). As it is a precision machine, please be careful of drops, strong impacts, and magnetism (smartphones, PCs, etc.).
How to operate Cal.44A
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position
How to pull out the crown: Insert your nail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out
If you pull the crown too hard, it may come off. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Gentle operation can reduce the stress on the crown.
Time setting: Pull out the crown and rotate it downwards
The second hand stops when the crown is pulled out
