商品説明
This is the Ref. 131.013, a masterpiece from 1962 that etched its name into Omega's history.
The movement is the Cal. 286, the final evolution of Omega's supreme masterpiece, the "30mm Caliber." Based on a legendary design dating back to the 1940s, this complete unit adopts a smooth balance wheel without timing screws, further enhancing stability and maintainability. The internal condition, finished with red copper plating, retains a remarkable beauty even after more than 60 years since its manufacture.
This model is a rare piece believed to have been supplied for the Japanese market at the time. It features a minimalist design, intentionally omitting model names like "Seamaster" on the dial. This style, embodying the "Aesthetics of Subtraction," is now highly praised by overseas collectors as "Absolute Japanese Minimalism."
The case and caseback are made of stainless steel with a snap-back design. The crown and buckle are genuine Omega parts with the Ω mark.
This simple center-seconds model without a calendar function requires less time setting and matches a wide range of outfits, whether for formal or casual occasions.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished.
The crown is a bit stiff to push in, but it does not impede operation.
The strap has been replaced with a new Morellato strap, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience.
The buckle is an authentic Omega.
The dial features a silver sunray finish. While there is some minor aging due to time, it remains remarkably clear given its manufacturing year. The crystal also has no noticeable scratches, and visibility is good.
Due to its age, this watch is not water-resistant. Do not use it in environments with a lot of moisture (e.g., on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days). As it is a precision instrument, please be careful of drops, strong impacts, and magnetism (e.g., from smartphones or PCs).
How to Operate
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position.
When winding the mainspring, rotate the crown gently and slowly upwards.
At the beginning, the crown may feel light when turned, but it will become heavier as it winds up.
For manual-winding watches, if you force the winding when it's fully wound, the mainspring may break. Please be careful.
How to pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown out by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to detach. Please pull it gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown.
Time Setting: Pull out the crown and rotate it downwards.
The second hand does not stop.
