Bulova Super Seville Ref. 4410103
The Bulova Super Seville is an automatic model from the brand's iconic luxury line, produced from the 1970s to the 1980s.
This particular Ref. 4410103, based on the movement engraving (P8) and the original warranty card, was manufactured and sold in 1988 (Showa 63). Its fluted bezel and day window at 12 o'clock give it a timeless and universal design that is resistant to changing trends.
During maintenance, the crown was replaced with a genuine deadstock crown (unused). The use of valuable original parts from that era ensures the preservation of its original design and operational feel.
The dial features an elegant silver sunray finish. Its classic 1980s aesthetic adds a touch of sophistication to your wrist, whether in modern business settings or formal occasions.
The movement is a reliable Swiss-made ébauche, the ETA 2834-2. With a high beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a quick-set date and day function, as well as a hacking (second hand stop) function, making it a highly practical vintage timepiece.
This model is a representative timepiece from the 1980s, combining classic aesthetics with reliable practicality. It has undergone an overhaul and genuine parts replacement, making it ideal for those seeking a high-quality vintage watch.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and externally finished.
As mentioned, the crown has been replaced with a genuine deadstock crown. The screw-down function works properly, with no practical issues.
The original bracelet is included and can accommodate a wrist size of up to approximately 181mm.
Accessories include the original warranty card and a Bulova box. Please note that based on the logo design, the box is likely for a different model from the same era (such as a quartz watch) rather than for a Super Seville automatic. We appreciate your understanding.
Due to the watch's age, it is not water-resistant (water resistance is not guaranteed).
Please handle it with care to avoid exposure to moisture.
Additionally, as a vintage item, please be careful of strong impacts and magnetic fields.
How to Operate the ETA 2834-2
To release the screw-down crown: Rotate the crown downwards (towards you) in the normal position.
When screwing the crown back in, it is recommended to carefully find the threads and gently screw it in to avoid damaging them.
Although this watch's crown has been replaced with a genuine deadstock part, the receiving tube is original. Due to the age of the tube, you may feel some slight resistance when screwing it in, but it can be tightened by approximately 3 rotations. Please be careful not to overtighten.
Manual winding: With the crown released, rotate it upwards (away from you).
Quick-set date/day: Pull the crown out one click. Rotate upwards for "date" quick-set, and downwards for "day" quick-set.
Operating the quick-set function when the watch hands are between 8 PM and 4 AM can cause damage.
It is recommended to move the hour hand to around 6 o'clock before performing this operation.
Time setting: Pull the crown out two clicks and rotate downwards (towards you) (features a hacking function).
