商品説明
This is a Lord Marvel from 1975, a rare gold-plated case model.
It was positioned between the Grand Seiko and the Crown Special.
The "Lord Marvel 36000" is the first Japanese-made 10-beat wristwatch.
It was a high-end model that marked the first commercial application of the world-class high-beat technology used by Seiko at the 1968 Geneva Observatory Concours, where they achieved a historic feat by virtually sweeping the top spots (dominating 4th through 10th place) for mechanical watches.
It is equipped with the hand-wound "Cal.5740C" movement.
Based on the Lord Marvel's "Cal.5740B," it features a high-beat specification with the balance frequency increased to 36,000 vibrations (10 beats per second).
It is characterized by smoother second-hand movement than previous models.
The case is gold-plated, and the stainless steel case back is a screw-back type.
The design features long, three-faceted mirror-finished lugs that give the watch a smart, vertically elongated look.
The dial has a sunray finish, which creates a lustrous sheen depending on the angle of the light.
It features a clean 3-hand, no-date design.
Recommended for those looking for a simple and elegant vintage watch.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
The strap has been replaced with a brand new, genuine Seiko strap, ensuring it is comfortable to wear.
The dial remains in excellent condition without any noticeable scratches or stains.
To best highlight the texture of this dial, we have luxuriously replaced the crystal with a rare, unused genuine Seiko stock part.
While the case shows minor scratches and some fading of the gold plating, it retains the soft, golden glow unique to a vintage piece.
The case back has an engraved marking (in Kanji) from a previous owner, which we hope you will enjoy as a detail that reflects the 1970s era.
The crown is a large 6mm in diameter, making it easy to operate.
As this is a vintage watch, it is not waterproof. It should not be used in environments with significant exposure to moisture (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days).
As it is a precision instrument, please be careful to avoid drops or strong impacts.
Also, please keep it away from objects that emit strong magnetic fields, such as smartphones, PCs, or magnets on bag clasps.
Operation
Hand-winding: Rotate clockwise with the crown in the normal position
When winding the mainspring, please turn the crown clockwise slowly and carefully.
Winding will feel light at first but will become heavier as the spring reaches capacity.
Please be careful; forcing a hand-wound watch to wind further once it has reached its limit will break the mainspring.
How to pull out the crown: Gently pull it out by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to come out completely, so please pull gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce the strain on the crown.
Time adjustment: Pull the crown out and rotate counter-clockwise
