商品説明
This is the Ref. 168.024, a high-grade Seamaster model with chronometer specifications.
Unlike the "Constellation C-line" chronometer released around the same time, which featured an oval-shaped case, this model boasts a fluid, graceful case design around the lugs and sides.
It maintains a modern aesthetic even half a century later.
The case back features a screw-back design, adorned with the Seamaster Seahorse logo and Ω symbol.
The crown is engraved with the "Ω" mark.
It is powered by the Caliber 564 movement, a celebrated movement that is chronometer-certified.
At the time, this was reserved exclusively for high-end models such as the Constellation.
The movement is engraved with "ADJUSTED FIVE (5) POSITIONS AND TEMPERATURE," indicating that it has been adjusted for five positions and temperature variations.
The entire movement is finished with red gold plating, exuding the elegance of a high-end timepiece.
The dial features a radial finish.
There is age-related discoloration (aging) across the dial, giving it a warm, champagne-gold hue.
It features applied baton indices and "dauphine hands," which are shaped like the tips of a fountain pen, creating an elegant and sophisticated design.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial, it bears the
inscription 'CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED,' proof of its chronometer certification by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (C.O.S.C.).
The bracelet is a rare, genuine Omega "beads of rice" bracelet (Ref. 1036).
It retains an uncommon length for a vintage piece, offering both value and practicality.
Recommended for those seeking an elegant vintage Omega.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior finished.
While there are minor scratches on the case that could not be polished away, the edges of the lugs remain sharp, preserving the original form.
The crystal is the original, featuring the "Ω" watermark in the center.
It has minor scratches that could not be polished out.
The crown is original and operates smoothly.
Internal rotor rotation is extremely smooth as well.
There is age-related discoloration across the dial.
The hands show minor dullness, but this does not detract from the vintage charm.
The genuine bracelet is sufficiently long and can accommodate a wrist size of up to 184mm.
Micro-adjustments can also be made at the buckle.
As this is an older watch, it is not waterproof. Do not use in environments with moisture (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot days when you may sweat).
As this is a precision instrument, please avoid drops or strong impacts.
Also, please keep it away from strong magnetic sources such as smartphones, PCs, or magnets on bag closures.
Operation Guide
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and pull out gently.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to come out. Please pull gently.
To prevent bending the crown, remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Operating with care reduces strain on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate clockwise while the crown is in the standard position.
Setting the time: Pull the crown to the first click and rotate counter-clockwise.
The second hand does not stop.
Date quick-set: Pull the crown to the second click.
To advance the date continuously, alternate between the second-click position and the first-click position.
Operating the quick-set while the watch is between '9 PM and 3 AM' will cause a malfunction.
It is recommended to set the time to around 6 o'clock before performing the quick-set.
