This is a Movado "Kingmatic Chronograph."
The Kingmatic inherits Movado's historic automatic line while embracing the sporty, bold design aesthetic characteristic of the 90s.
The high-contrast "panda dial" features a striking red chronograph hand, blending mechanical beauty with a sporty, luxurious look that adds presence to the wrist.
The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel and have a substantial, balanced feel. The bezel is fixed (non-rotating) with engraved numerals, creating a sleek silhouette.
The dial features a popular black-based color scheme with white sub-dials. The large Arabic numerals are luminous, allowing for quick time checks, day or night.
It is powered by the highly reliable and legendary Valjoux 7750 movement.
Equipped with manual winding, hacking (seconds-stop), and quick-set date/day functions, it offers exceptional daily practicality.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
There are faint surface scratches near the MOVADO logo at the 3 o'clock position on the dial, visible only under certain lighting; however, the luminous indices remain in excellent condition and do not detract from the vintage aesthetic. The exterior shows minor signs of use, but there is no major damage, and it is in good condition for practical wear.
As this is a pre-owned item, water resistance is not guaranteed.
Please be careful around water, as this model features a non-screw-down crown.
Operation
Manual Winding: Turn the crown clockwise in the neutral position.
(*This model does not have a screw-down crown. It can be wound directly in the neutral position.)
Setting the Time: Pull the crown out two clicks and turn it counter-clockwise.
The second hand stops when the crown is pulled out two clicks.
Quick-set Date: Pull the crown out one click and turn it clockwise.
Quick-set Day: Pull the crown out one click and turn it counter-clockwise (SAT to FRI sequence).
Using the quick-set function while the watch hands are between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM may cause damage to the movement.
We recommend setting the time to 6:00 before using the quick-set function.
Please note that frequent use of the chronograph will accelerate component wear.
Start Chronograph: Press the top-right button.
Stop Chronograph: Press the top-right button (while the chronograph is running).
Reset Chronograph: Press the bottom-right button (while the chronograph is stopped).
Always ensure the chronograph is stopped before resetting.
Pressing the reset button while the chronograph is running may cause damage.
