商品説明
This is a Citizen HILINE (25-jewel model) manufactured in 1962.
The Hi-Line was a high-end hand-wound watch announced by Citizen in the 1960s as the successor to the "Deluxe." It is known as a masterpiece that led the trend of thinning at the time, while achieving both robustness for daily use and an elegant form at a high level.
The case is 14K gold-filled. Compared to general plating, 14K gold-filled has a thicker layer of gold, providing excellent durability that prevents the base metal from being exposed. The case back is a snap-back type.
The case diameter is 36.5mm, and the thickness is 8mm. Not only is it thin, but by giving the case line a moderate sense of volume, it creates a presence on the wrist and a stately appearance characteristic of an antique watch.
The dial features a delicate radial sunray finish. Combined with slender gold indices and sharp hands, it has a very dressy design. This is the perfect watch for those looking for an antique watch with a sophisticated, mature feel.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled. The crown operates very smoothly, and the winding sensation is also good.
The leather strap has been replaced with a new Morellato strap, so you can enjoy using it immediately after purchase. Please note that due to its thin design and delicate lugs, we recommend not tightening the strap too much to avoid excessive strain on the lugs when wearing it.
The dial has no noticeable stains or scratches and is in extremely good condition considering its age. There are fine scuffs on the case due to use, but no peeling of the gold plating is visible, and the sharp original shape has been well preserved. Please note that the plating on the crown shows some thinning due to age, but this does not affect its use.
Due to its construction, it is not water-resistant.
It is strictly prohibited to use it in humid environments (rainy days, when washing your face, wearing it on hot days when you sweat, etc.).
As it is a precision instrument, please be careful of drops and strong impacts. Also, please keep it away from strong magnetic sources such as smartphones, PCs, and magnetic clasps.
Operating Instructions
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards (12 o'clock direction) in its normal position.
How to Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown out by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to detach. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, always operate it with the watch removed from your wrist.
Setting the Time: Pull the crown out and rotate it downwards (6 o'clock direction).
*The second hand stop function (hacking function) is not equipped.
