商品説明
This is a brown dial model of Seiko’s semi-premium line, the "Lord Matic."
This model is notable for its nine-faceted crystal and gradient dial.
The Lord Matic was a high-end model ranking just below the Grand Seiko and King Seiko, and the series mainly featured "monocoque cases."
This particular 5606-7300 model, however, features a screw-back case.
The front of the case has a hairline finish, while the bezel features a mirror finish.
The sides are composed of three surfaces with a mirror finish, resulting in a sleek, flowing design.
The brown dial has a glossy sheen, and the depth of the brown shade shifts beautifully depending on the angle of the light.
This model is equipped with an automatic movement.
It features manual winding, a hacking function (second hand stop), day and date display, a bilingual day display (Japanese/English), and a quick-set calendar function, making it highly practical.
Many gradient dial & faceted crystal models were released in the 1970s, but few remain in good condition today; when you go looking for one, it is often difficult to find a high-quality example.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished.
The bracelet is a genuine Lord Matic original stamped "SEIKO LM," which can accommodate a wrist size up to 184mm.
The nine-faceted crystal shows light surface scratches and scuffs commensurate with its age, depending on how the light hits it. However, there are no deep cracks or chips that would hinder visibility of the dial during daily use, and it remains sufficiently clear given its age.
As this is a vintage watch, it is not waterproof. Do not wear it in environments with high moisture (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days).
As this is a precision instrument, please be careful to avoid drops or strong impacts.
Also, please keep it away from strong magnetic sources such as smartphones, PCs, or magnets in bag clasps.
How to Operate
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out.
Pulling the crown with too much force may cause it to come out entirely. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown stem, remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Operating gently will help reduce the strain on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards while the crown is in the normal position.
Time setting: Rotate downwards with the crown pulled out to the second click.
The second hand will stop when the crown is at the second click.
Date quick-set: Rotate downwards with the crown at the first click.
Day quick-set: Rotate upwards with the crown at the first click (the display cycles from English to Japanese).
Performing the quick-set operation while the watch indicates a time between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM will cause a malfunction.
We recommend moving the hands to around 6:00 before performing the quick-set operation.
