商品説明

This is a vintage Omega watch, Ref. 166.002, manufactured in 1967.
It is an extremely rare double-signed piece, featuring both the "Geneve Seamaster" text seen during the transitional period of the model name, as well as the logo of "TÜRLER," a long-established high-end Swiss jewelry retailer.

A special piece born from a "transitional period" in the collection

This Ref. 166.002 (the date model of the Ref. 165.002) is a fascinating reference from the transitional period (the 1960s) when Omega was reorganizing its model hierarchy.
Originally introduced as part of the "Seamaster" line, which featured highly water-resistant cases, Omega existed with diverse dial variations during this time, including "Seamaster," "Geneve," and pieces like this one featuring the joint "Geneve Seamaster" designation.

Furthermore, this piece possesses the notable rarity of being a double-signed watch with "TÜRLER."
Türler is a prestigious Swiss luxury jewelry store known for handling many custom-ordered items (shop-exclusive models) for their clientele.
Telling the story of Omega's lineup reorganization and historical background at the time, this is a special piece that is highly attractive as a collector's item.

Equipped with the reliable automatic movement, Cal. 565

The movement is the Cal. 565 (24 jewels), which features a date display and quick-set function, chosen from the renowned Cal. 550 series that powered Omega's golden age of automatic watches.
It is a highly reliable movement, boasting a stable design inherited from the Cal. 500 series and excellent durability, with an operation that allows for instant date changes by pulling the crown out to the second position.

The movement, beautifully finished in red gold plating, employs a swan-neck regulator for the escapement, allowing for precise accuracy adjustments.
Combining practicality with durability, you can fully enjoy the mechanical charm of a vintage Omega.

Design and Usability

The case is made of stainless steel with a sharp look, and the case back is a screw-back type.
The slender lugs and the fully mirror-polished case create an elegant, simple atmosphere characteristic of vintage watches.
The crown is genuine Omega, featuring the Ω mark. It is sized to be easy to grip, allowing for smooth manual winding and time adjustment.
This watch is recommended for those looking for an appealing vintage Omega that combines a refined, stripped-back design with a rare background.

Condition and Notes

This watch has been overhauled.

The dial features a delicate vertical hairline finish and a sophisticated design with a crossline in the center, which gives a sharp, refined impression.
Due to aging, the color has shifted overall to a champagne gold tone, and you can enjoy the tasteful character unique to a vintage watch, such as the yellowing near the 10 o'clock index and subtle, fine speckling throughout.
The center portions of the baton indices have faded to an amber (tropical brown) color over time, revealing a muted, sophisticated look that changes depending on how the light hits it.
While the hands show some dullness and minor scratches due to age, they do not detract from the overall atmosphere.
The crystal has been replaced with a non-original part, and due to its construction, the "T SWISS MADE T" text at the bottom of the dial (6 o'clock) is partially obscured.

The strap has been replaced with a brand-new one (by CASSIS), so you can wear it with comfort.
The buckle is a genuine Omega buckle (later design).
The crown is original with the Ω mark and operates smoothly.

Precautions for Purchase

As this is an older vintage watch, it is not water-resistant.
Do not expose the watch to water or humid environments (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days).
Because this is a precision instrument, please be careful to avoid drops or strong impacts.
Additionally, please be careful to keep it away from strong magnetic sources such as smartphones, PCs, or bag magnets.

Operating Instructions

How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and pull gently (1st click: time adjustment / 2nd click: quick-set date)

Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out. Please pull it gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently reduces stress on the crown.

Manual Winding: Rotate clockwise while the crown is in the normal (pushed in) position.

Time Adjustment: Pull the crown out to the 1st click and rotate counter-clockwise (to move the hands).

* There is no hacking function (second-hand stop function) on this model.

Date Quick-set: Gently pull the crown out to the 2nd click.

To advance the date continuously, you can cycle between the 2nd and 1st click positions. Operating the quick-set date while the watch hands are between '9 PM and 3 AM' will cause a malfunction. It is recommended to set the time to around 6 o'clock before using the quick-set feature.
