The Dynamic Auto 33-jewel was priced at 9,500 yen at a time when the starting salary for a university graduate was 15,700 yen. (33 jewels, gold-plated case)
As it set a trend for various manufacturers to successively develop multi-jewel models, it can be called a masterpiece that remains in the history of Japanese-made wristwatches.
The dial is silver with a sunray finish.
The outer edge of the dial is stepped.
The multifaceted indices are mirror-finished, emitting an elegant radiance.
The gold dauphine hands feature a sharp design.
The case is gold-plated, and the case back is made of stainless steel.
The lugs are well-proportioned relative to the case—not too thin—giving it a stylish appearance.
This unit comes with the manufacturer's box.
The design of the box is elaborate, making it interesting as a collector's item.
How to operate
Manual winding: Rotate upwards in the normal crown position
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Handling it gently can reduce the stress on the crown.
Time setting: Pull out the crown and rotate downwards
The second hand does not stop
Quick-set date: Pull out the crown and oscillate between 8:45 PM and 12:00 AM
1) Move the hands until 12:00 midnight.
If the date changes, it is midnight. If it does not change, it is noon.
2) Once you move the hands to 12:00 AM, the next date will be displayed. Then, move the hands back to 8:45 PM.
3) Move the hands forward to 12:00 AM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
By repeating this process, you can advance the date one by one.
Please operate slowly to reduce the stress on the movement.
Condition
This item has been overhauled by our shop.
The strap has been replaced with a new aftermarket one, so you can wear it with comfort.
It comes with the original strap and buckle.
The crown is an original Ricoh part, featuring the "R" logo.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days, during the rainy season, or in the summer.
