This is a stainless steel model of the Girard-Perregaux "Richville".
The Ref. 2520 features a rectangular case with a stepped bezel and is equipped with the in-house caliber GP3000.
It was released in various variations, including all stainless steel, two-tone stainless steel and gold, and solid gold.
This particular piece is stainless steel.
With its rounded rectangular case, petite dial, and simple design consisting of the time and a small seconds sub-dial, it has a classic look.
The black dial features Arabic numeral indices, a small seconds sub-dial, and a railroad-style minute track.
The small seconds sub-dial is recessed into the dial.
The crystal is sapphire, which offers the benefit of being scratch-resistant.
Despite being an automatic watch, it is finished with a slim profile of 8.4mm.
We recommend this for those looking for a thin automatic dress watch.
Operation
Manual winding: With the crown in the normal position, rotate it upwards.
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out, so please pull it gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operation.
Handling it gently will reduce the strain on the crown.
Time setting: Pull the crown out and rotate it downwards.
Pulling the crown out stops the second hand.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and externally polished by our shop.
There are minor scratches on the case that could not be removed during polishing.
The crystal has only light scuffs.
The strap has been replaced with a new Di-Modell strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
It is equipped with an authentic Girard-Perregaux buckle.
As this is a pre-owned item, there is no waterproof warranty.
The crown is not a screw-down type.
The case back is secured by six screws, and the watch was originally rated for 3 bar water resistance.
To prevent rust on the case back screws, we recommend not leaving the watch in a wet condition.
