This is a rare solid 18k gold case "Lord Marvel" manufactured in 1962.
The jewel count of the movement was increased from 17 jewels to 23 jewels.
The movement features elaborate finishing, including engraved and mirror-polished ratchet wheels and polished screws.
All of these techniques were subsequently inherited by the Grand Seiko, which began production in 1960.
The dial is a luxury specification known as the "SD Dial."
The indices are crafted from solid 18k or 14k gold.
The sun-like mark at the 6 o'clock position signifies the SD dial, and its elegant luster remains well-preserved today.
The case is made of solid 18k gold.
Because many Lord Marvel models feature gold-filled cases, this is a rare specimen.
The case back has a rounded shape.
The lugs are long and feature a three-sided mirror finish.
The design is crafted to give a sleek, vertical look.
Since solid 18k gold is softer than stainless steel, we recommend not tightening the strap too firmly to avoid placing undue stress on the lugs.

How to Operate
Manual Winding: With the crown in the normal position, rotate upwards.
How to Pull Out the Crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown, and gently pull it out.
If you pull the crown too hard, there is a risk of it coming out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce the strain on the crown.
Time Setting: Pull out the crown and rotate downwards.
There is no second-hand hacking function.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished by our shop.
The strap has been replaced with a new (genuine) cowhide leather strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
The buckle is a genuine SEIKO (gold-plated) part.
The crown is an aftermarket part and has no markings.
Due to its age, it is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days or during hot weather.
