商品説明
This is a solid 18K gold Grand Seiko from 1971.
The tonneau-shaped case is made of solid 18K gold and emits an elegant luster.
The dial features a delicate silk-grain pattern and a polished finish, creating beautiful shadows depending on the angle of the light.
The color is one tone lighter than the solid gold case, giving it a noble impression.
It is equipped with the automatic movement "Cal. 5645A."
This was the final caliber for mechanical Grand Seikos, achieving a thinner, smaller, and lighter design.
It features manual winding, hacking (second-hand stop), date display, and quick-set date functions.
While the stainless steel 56GS sold for approximately 40,000 yen at the time of release, this solid gold model was a top-of-the-line product sold for approximately 200,000 yen.
Solid gold models had low production numbers and are extremely rare.
Furthermore, finding an individual piece with a clean case and dial, original GS crown, and original 18K gold buckle is exceptionally rare.
I highly recommend this to someone who will handle it with care.
How to operate
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out
If the crown is pulled too forcefully, there is a risk of it coming out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Operating it gently reduces the burden on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate clockwise in the normal position
Time setting: Rotate counter-clockwise at the second click
The second hand stops when the crown is at the second click position.
Quick-set date: Rotate counter-clockwise at the first click
Performing the quick-set operation while the watch indicates "9:00 PM to 2:00 AM" will cause a malfunction.
We recommend setting the time to around 6:00 before performing the quick-set adjustment.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished by our shop.
The strap has been replaced with a brand-new original crocodile leather strap, so you can use it with confidence.
The buckle is a rare, original solid 18K gold piece.
There is an 18K hallmark on the inside of the buckle.
There are minor scratches on the crystal, but the dial remains highly legible.
The crown is also original and functions normally.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
