This is a platinum Grand Seiko released in 1992.
This SBGS005 model was manufactured until around 1996.
Retaining the elegant design of the Grand Seiko, this ultra-luxury piece was priced at 800,000 yen and is crafted from solid platinum (Pt950).
The substantial weight of the platinum provides a special experience felt only by the person wearing it.
The dial features a sunray finish with extremely fine radial brush strokes.
Depending on the angle of the light, it shimmers in silver and champagne gold, exuding a sense of luxury.
The entire case features a mirror-polished finish.
The case back is secured with four screws and is engraved with the Grand Seiko GS mark.
The crystal is made of sapphire, which has the advantage of being scratch-resistant.

Condition
The battery was replaced and the exterior was polished in March 2023.
While there are minor scratches that could not be removed by polishing, it is in beautiful condition overall with no noticeable damage.
The strap is a brand-new crocodile leather strap made by WAKUIZ, allowing you to wear it with comfort.
Includes a brand-new Grand Seiko D-buckle (stainless steel).
As this is a pre-owned item, there is no water resistance warranty.
It was not originally designed to be water-resistant, so please be careful around water.
The crown is not a screw-down type.
If it gets wet, we recommend wiping it off immediately.
