This is a Laco quartz wristwatch.
Laco was responsible for manufacturing pocket watches for the German Navy in 1944.
Based on the image of those pocket watches, the crown is positioned at 12 o'clock, and the twin-joint lugs are designed to firmly guard the crown.
Placing the crown at the 12 o'clock position also allows for a better fit on the wrist and enhances the design.
The bezel is a unidirectional rotating bezel that turns counter-clockwise.
The dial is matte black with bar indices, and the hands are luminous.
It features a simple and practical design.
The 40mm diameter case has a hairline finish.
The crown is screw-down, and the case back is a screw-back type.
This model is equipped with a quartz movement.
It is highly practical, featuring a date display, quick-set date function, and hack function.

How to operate
Unscrew the crown: Rotate the crown clockwise in its normal position.
The crown screws in smoothly.
When screwing in the crown, we recommend carefully finding the correct position to screw it in and doing so slowly to avoid stripping the threads.
Setting the time: Pull the crown out two clicks and rotate it counter-clockwise.
The second hand stops when the crown is pulled out two clicks.
Quick-setting the date: Pull the crown out one click and rotate it counter-clockwise.
Operating the quick-set date when the watch is indicating between '9 PM and 2 AM' may cause damage.
We recommend setting the time to around 6 o'clock before performing the quick-set date operation.
Condition
The battery was replaced in May 2023.
There are minor scratches on the case, but the crystal and dial are relatively clean.
The strap is a used, non-original one.
The maximum wrist circumference is 180mm.
