商品説明
This is a rare Golden Horse model from Rado with 57 jewels.
The 57-jewel model is the top-of-the-line Golden Horse, produced in limited quantities to commemorate the birth of the Rado brand in 1957.
The Golden Horse gained popularity as a model featuring a Swiss-made automatic movement (with manual winding mechanism) and a waterproof case (to contemporary standards).
A common feature of the Horse series is the seahorse (Seahorse), an icon of Rado's waterproof cases, depicted on both the dial and the case back.
This particular piece features two seahorses facing each other on the dial and case back.
The screw-back case back is engraved with 'Water-Sealed'.
(Please use it as non-waterproof as it is an old watch.)
The seahorse logo covers most of the case back.
It features an attractive design that combines a mirror finish and a hairline finish.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial is Rado's brand symbol, the 'anchor mark', which rotates occasionally with wrist movement.
The indices at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock feature unusual wedge-shaped designs.
Although the dial was originally silver, it has yellowed entirely, giving this piece a unique character.
Operating Instructions
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position
Time setting: Pull the crown out one click and rotate it downwards
Quick-set date: Pull the crown out one click and move the hands back and forth between '8:15 PM and 11:50 PM' during time setting
1) Move the hands until 12 AM (24:00).
If the date changes, it's 12 AM. If it doesn't change, it's 12 PM.
2) Once you've confirmed the date has changed, move the hands back to 8:15 PM.
This prepares the watch to display the next day's date.
3) Advance the hands to 11:50 PM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
By repeating steps 1) to 3), you can quick-set the date one day at a time.
To reduce strain on the movement, please operate slowly.
