商品説明
This is a rare 57-jewel model of the Rado Golden Horse.
The 57-jewel model is the top-tier Golden Horse model, produced in limited quantities to commemorate the launch of the Rado brand in 1957.
The Golden Horse was a popular model known for its Swiss-made automatic movement (with manual winding capability) and water-resistant case (by standards of the time).
A common feature of the Horse series is the seahorse, the iconic symbol of Rado's water-resistant cases, depicted on both the dial and the case back.
This particular piece features two seahorses facing each other on the dial and case back.
The screw-back case back is engraved with 'Water-Sealed'.
(Due to the watch's age, please use it as non-water resistant.)
The seahorse logo covers a large portion of the case back.
It features an attractive design combining mirror polishing and hairline finishing.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial is Rado's brand symbol, the anchor mark, which occasionally rotates with wrist movement.
The indices at the 12, 6, and 9 o'clock positions are unusual wedge-shaped indices.
The dial was originally silver, but the entire surface has yellowed, giving this piece a unique character.
Operation Instructions
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards in the normal position
Time Setting: Pull the crown out one click and rotate it downwards
Date Quick Set: Pull the crown out one click and move the hands back and forth between '8:30 PM and 12:00 AM' during time setting.
1) Move the hands until 12:00 AM (24:00).
If the date changes, it's 12:00 AM. If it doesn't change, it's 12:00 PM.
2) Once you confirm the date has changed, move the hands back to 8:30 PM.
This prepares the watch to display the next day's calendar.
3) Advance the hands to 12:00 AM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat steps 1-3 to quick-set the date one day at a time.
Please operate slowly to reduce stress on the movement.
