商品説明
This is a 1966 Seamaster Ref.166.010.
It features the same case design as the later Seamaster "168.024 (166.010 SP)," with elegantly finished lugs and sides.
It still looks modern even after nearly half a century.
The case back is a screw-back type, featuring the Seamaster's symbol, the seahorse logo and Ω mark.
The crown surface is engraved with the 'Ω' mark.
The movement installed is "Caliber 562."
The Cal.562 is a full-rotor automatic winding movement developed in 1959, with the addition of a date display to the Cal.550.
It has the same fine-adjustment regulator as the Cal.561 (chronometer model).
It features 24 jewels to facilitate accuracy adjustment and prevent parts wear.
It does not originally have a quick-set date function.
The dial has a sunray finish.
It features applied bar indexes.
The hands are "Dauphine hands," shaped like the tip of a fountain pen.
Recommended for those seeking an elegant antique Omega.
How to Operate Caliber 562
How to pull the crown: Gently pull it out by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come off. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards with the crown in the normal position.
Time setting: Pull the crown and rotate downwards.
The second hand does not stop (originally no hacking function)
Quick-set date: Pull the crown and move the hands back and forth between "9 PM and 12 AM" for time setting.
1) Move the hands to 12 o'clock.
If the date changes, it's 12 AM. If it doesn't, it's 12 PM.
2) Move the hands to 12 AM to display the next date. Then, move the hands back to 9 PM.
3) Advance the hands to 12 AM.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat this process to advance the date one day at a time.
Please operate slowly to reduce stress on the movement.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and externally polished by our store.
The crystal has minor scratches, but the dial visibility is good.
The crown is original. Time setting operates smoothly.
Manual winding is a bit stiff, and difficult due to the thin crown. Please primarily use automatic winding.
The dial has some tanning and scattered spots.
The hands have some dullness.
The original bracelet is of sufficient length and can accommodate wrists up to 194mm in circumference.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, be careful of magnetism and impacts.
