商品説明
This is a rare 18K solid gold case Seiko Liner from 1963.
The Liner was a thin, high-end watch line created in the 1960s.
Its movement was based on the Marvel movement, but it was made thinner, incorporated Diafix for the cap jewels, and featured an updated shock-absorbing device.
Diafix: A system where the cap jewels are held in place by a U-shaped spring, which improves the oil retention of the lubricant.
The case is made of 18K solid gold.
The lugs are slender, creating a design that makes the vertical lines appear smart.
The dial has a radial finish, with a subtle burnished look that gives it an antique feel.
This particular watch features the high-end "SD dial".
The indexes are crafted from solid 18K or 14K gold.
The sun-like mark at 6 o'clock signifies the SD dial, and its elegant luster is still present today.
Despite being a simple 3-hand model, it features bold dauphine hands, giving it a strong presence.
Recommended for those looking for an elegant antique watch.
Operation
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position.
How to Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown by inserting a fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to detach. Please pull it gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown.
Time Setting: Pull the crown and rotate it downwards.
There is no hacking (stop-seconds) function.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled by our store.
The strap has been replaced with a new (genuine) one, so you can use it comfortably.
Since 18K solid gold is softer than stainless steel, it is recommended not to overtighten the strap to avoid putting excessive stress on the lugs.
There is circular discoloration in the center of the dial.
The crystal has minor scratches that couldn't be removed by polishing, linear scratches, and a ding on the rim at the 4 o'clock position.
Due to its age, it is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, be careful of shocks and magnetism.
