This is a manual-winding IWC model from 1977.
The 12 o'clock position on the dial features an applied "IWC" logo and the "International Watch Co." signature in script, evoking a classic vintage atmosphere.
The round case has a beautiful form with slender lugs.
It is powered by the manual-winding "Cal. 89" movement.
With its thick, large bridges, this movement combines ease of maintenance with the refined aesthetic characteristic of IWC.
The crown, which features the "fish" mark, measures approximately 5mm in diameter.
It is easy to grip and offers excellent operability.
Another positive point is that it lacks the edge wear often seen on the crowns of manual-winding models.
Operation
How to pull out the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out.
Pulling the crown with excessive force may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown stem from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce the strain on the crown.
Manual winding: With the crown in the normal position, rotate it upwards.
To wind the mainspring, please turn the crown upwards slowly and carefully.
Winding will feel light at first, but will become heavier as the spring reaches full tension.
With manual-winding watches, forcing the crown past the point of resistance will cause the mainspring to break. Please be careful.
Setting the time: Pull out the crown and rotate it upwards.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled by our shop.
The dial shows a light, even patina, resulting in a piece with beautiful signs of aging.
The original IWC protective sticker remains on the case back.
It comes with its original box and warranty card, making it an interesting find for collectors.
The strap has been replaced with a new one from Morellato, so you can wear it comfortably right away.
The buckle is original IWC.
Due to its age, this watch is not water-resistant.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Also, please be careful of shocks and magnetism.
