商品説明
This is a chronometer-certified reissue of Rado's iconic "Golden Horse" model.
The "Golden Horse" gained popularity in the 1970s as a Swiss-made automatic (with manual winding) and water-resistant (for its time) model.
The curved profile of the original domed crystal is replicated here using plexiglass, and the tips of the minute and second hands are gently curved to harmonize with the crystal.
The dial features a sunray finish, creating a beautiful gradation depending on the angle.
The "moving anchor emblem," representing an automatic movement, is positioned at 12 o'clock, while two seahorses are featured at 6 o'clock.
At the 9 o'clock position on the dial, there is the inscription "CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED," proof of chronometer certification by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (C.O.S.C.).
This model is water-resistant to 10 bar (100m class) and features a screw-down crown and a screw-back case.
(As this is a pre-owned item, water resistance is not guaranteed.)
The case back bears the engraving of the "seahorse," the symbol of water-resistant watches.
The "anchor emblem" is engraved on the crown surface.
It features a hacking second function, quick-set date, and manual winding, making it highly practical.
Original List Price: 178,500 yen
Operation
Releasing the screw-down crown: Rotate downward while the crown is in the normal position.
The screw-down mechanism of the crown is in good condition.
When screwing the crown back in, we recommend carefully finding the thread start and screwing it in slowly to avoid stripping the threads.
Applying light pressure while turning the crown makes it easier to engage the threads.
Manual winding: With the crown unscrewed, rotate upward.
Time setting: Pull the crown out to the second click and rotate downward.
The second hand stops when pulled to the second click.
Date quick-set: Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate upward.
Operating the quick-set while the watch hands are between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM may cause damage.
We recommend setting the time to around 6:00 before performing the quick-set.
Condition
The daily rate measured by a timegrapher (instantaneous rate at the time of measurement) is as follows.
This is not a measurement taken over 24 hours of operation.
Please consider this a reference value, as errors may occur depending on the winding level and usage environment.
Dial-up: +2 seconds; Crown-down: +2 seconds
The bracelet is original and can fit a wrist circumference of up to 195mm.
The screw-down operation of the crown is in good condition.
If the crown threads are damaged, repairs can only be performed by the manufacturer.
Please handle with care to avoid stripping the threads.
Due to being a pre-owned item, water resistance is not guaranteed.
Please also be mindful of shocks and magnetism.
