The Lord Marvel, which began production in May 1958, is a top-tier model that upgraded and increased the precision of the Marvel.
The dial of this early model features an intricate finish with an engraved logo.
The number of jewels in the movement was increased from 17 to 23.
The movement features sophisticated detailing, such as engraved and mirror-finished ratchet wheels and polished screws.
These techniques were all passed down to the Grand Seiko, which began production in 1960.
The dial is a high-grade version known as an "SD dial," with indices made of solid 18K or 14K gold.
The sun-like mark at the 6 o'clock position signifies the SD dial, and its elegant luster remains intact today.
The case is 14K gold-filled.
The case back features the rounded shape characteristic of early models.
The lugs are long and mirror-finished.
The design creates a sleek, vertical appearance.

How to Operate
Manual Winding: Rotate clockwise with the crown in its normal position.
It is easiest to wind by sliding the crown between your thumb and the side of your index finger.
How to Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown out by inserting a fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to detach. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce strain on the crown.
Setting the Time: Pull the crown out and rotate it counter-clockwise.
The second hand does not stop.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished.
The crown is a genuine part with the S mark.
There is some fading and small spots on the dial.
The case shows minor scratches and scuffs, and there is a small chip on the inside of the bottom-left lug. This does not interfere with the attachment of the strap.
This watch is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Please also be careful of impacts and magnetism.
