This is a manual-winding version of Cartier’s long-selling model, the "Must Tank SM."
It has undergone a complete service, as well as dial and hand replacement, at Cartier (Richemont Japan).
The Must Tank features a sterling silver (925) case with a gold coating known as "Vermeil."
This is a 1980s model equipped with a manual-winding movement.
Since Must Tank models switched to battery-powered (quartz) movements in the 1990s, manual-winding specimens are rare.
The dial is the popular ivory face with Roman numeral indices.
It features the "SWISS MADE" marking at the 6 o'clock position and the "CARTIER" secret signature within the 10 o'clock index.
The hands are brand new, featuring a lustrous black finish.
They shine beautifully depending on the angle of the light.
As a manual-winding watch, it requires manual operation to function.
The crown is easy to grip and operate, making it recommended even for those new to manual-winding watches.

Operation Instructions
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards while in its normal position.
To wind the mainspring, please rotate the crown slowly and carefully in an upward direction.
The crown will feel light when you begin winding, but it will become heavier as you approach full tension.
Please be careful; if you continue to wind a manual watch after it has reached full tension, the mainspring may break.
How to Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown out by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to come out; please pull it gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce strain on the crown.
Setting the Time: Pull the crown out and rotate it downwards.
Condition
This watch has undergone a complete service, as well as dial and hand replacement, at Cartier.
It comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty starting from March 2, 2025.
With the included "International Lifetime Warranty Certificate," the basic fee for overhaul (complete service) at Cartier is free for life. (Parts costs are charged at actual price.)
The International Lifetime Warranty Certificate was valid for this complete service, so please keep it in a safe place.
The strap has been replaced with a brand-new CASSIS leather strap, so you can wear it with comfort.
The buckle is genuine Cartier.
While there are minor scratches and slight fading/peeling of the plating on the case, it remains in beautiful condition overall.
The blue stone on the crown is also well-preserved.
The crystal has minor scratches and a small dent at the 1 o'clock position, but the visibility of the dial remains excellent.
Due to its age, this watch is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days or during hot weather.
Please take care to avoid exposure to magnetism and shock.
