商品説明
This is a rare, earliest-production model of the King Seiko second generation with chronometer specifications.
The second generation of King Seiko began production in 1964.
Among them, the chronometer specification is a rare model, as it was manufactured for only a short period of about two years.
The second generation added a second-hand stop function (hacking function) which was not present in the first generation.
The case back was changed from a press-fit snap-back to a screw-back, improving practicality.
Additionally, the durability was increased by designing the case lugs to be thicker.
This particular piece is an early model, with "Chronometer" written in script on the 12 o'clock side of the dial.
The 6 o'clock side features the AD dial (appliqué dial) mark.
The hour and minute hands and the indices are multi-faceted with a mirror finish, giving them an elegant shine and a strong presence.
The entire dial has aged slightly, and this attractive patina is part of the charm of this piece.
The case back is adorned with a gold "Lion Medallion," which adds a sense of specialness.
Unlike other King Seikos, it features a unique design with a bulbous tip on the second hand.
The original crown features the W SEIKO logo.
At 5.5mm in diameter, it is easy to grip with your fingers and operate.
Operation Method
Manual Winding: Rotate clockwise in the normal crown position
How to pull the crown: Push a fingernail into the gap between the case and the crown and lever it outwards
Please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce the burden on the crown.
Time Setting: Pull the crown and rotate counter-clockwise
The second hand will stop
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refinished.
The leather strap has been replaced with a brand new genuine one, so you can use it with confidence.
Like the movement of the early 44KS model, it is equipped with a "sickle-shaped" hacking lever, and the hacking function operates normally.
The crown is the original with the "W SEIKO" engraving.
There are some scratches and stains on the side of the crown, but the edges show no wear and it remains easy to operate.
The medallion on the case back is clean with no noticeable scratches.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days.
Please also be careful of impacts and magnetism.
