This is a manual-winding IWC model from 1974.
The dial features a sunburst finish, with delicate lines that emerge to give it a sense of luxury.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial is the applied "IWC" logo and the "International Watch Co." signature in script, creating a classic vintage atmosphere.
It is powered by the manual-winding "Cal. 403" movement.
This movement is a thinner version of the Cal. 402, with its thickness reduced to approximately 3.15mm.
Based on the Cal. 854, it features the characteristic IWC look with its widely separated bridges.
The crown has a diameter of 4.6mm, making it easy to grip and highly operable.
It remains in beautiful condition with very little of the edge wear often found on manual-winding models.
One advantage of thin antique watches is that they do not catch on shirt sleeves when worn.
We highly recommend this to those looking for an antique dress watch.
Operation
Winding: Rotate clockwise while the crown is in the normal position
How to pull the crown: Gently pull it out by inserting a fingernail between the case and the crown
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Operating it gently will reduce the strain on the crown.
Time setting: Pull out the crown and rotate it clockwise
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and externally refinished.
The crystal is clean with no noticeable scratches.
The strap has been replaced with a new one from Morellato, allowing you to use it with confidence.
This is originally a non-waterproof model.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days, and be mindful of moisture during use.
Please also take care to avoid impacts and magnetism.
