商品説明
The Bell & Ross "BR123 GT" is an automatic watch that embodies the glorious heritage of motorsports. The "GT" in its model name stands for "Grand Tourisme," symbolizing the spirit of high-performance cars designed to cover long distances with a combination of high performance, comfort, and sophisticated style.
The design of this timepiece draws deep inspiration from the racing cars of the 1970s. The clarity and functional beauty of the tachometers, from which drivers in that era could instantly read information in the cockpit, are vividly reflected on the dial of the BR123 GT.
The applied indices, numerals, and hands—all treated with luminous paint—ensure accurate time reading in any conditions, much like an instrument panel during a race. The simple layout, stripped of superfluous decoration, is the result of a pursuit of pure functional beauty, achieving a balance between utility as an instrument and aesthetic appeal.
Particularly eye-catching is the strap, which features micro-perforations consisting of countless tiny holes. This not only enhances breathability for a comfortable fit but also mirrors the functionality and design often found in the seats and steering wheels of 1970s race cars, recreating the atmosphere of the era's cockpits right on your wrist.
Housed in a robust 42mm satin-finished stainless steel case, a reliable Swiss-made automatic movement keeps precise time. It features a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock and a date display at 4:30, ensuring practicality for daily use.
Furthermore, the watch features a highly domed sapphire crystal, prized for its exceptional durability and clarity. Its smooth curve further accentuates the vintage feel, imbuing the watch with a timeless, universal beauty.
The Bell & Ross "BR123 GT" is more than just a tool for telling time. True to its "Grand Tourisme" name, it is a timepiece that blends a passion for motorsports with sophistication, offering a sporty yet dignified presence.
