商品説明
This is a rare manual-winding model from 1950, manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre, a renowned high-end manufacture, featuring an 18K pink gold (18K PG) case.
Archive acquired with official certification from Swiss headquarters
To fully authenticate this particular timepiece, we sent the watch itself to the LeCoultre headquarters in Switzerland via Jaeger-LeCoultre's official domestic representative (Richemont Japan). After a rigorous comparison with the physical item, we obtained an "archive (official manufacturing record)" issued by the manufacturer.
We requested an investigation from the Swiss headquarters in December 2025, and after meticulous appraisal and verification, the archive was finally issued in February 2026. This process, which took several months, is proof that the manufacturer meticulously identified the individual piece.
After hands-on verification by experts at the Swiss headquarters, it was officially confirmed that this timepiece was manufactured in 1950 and that the case material is 18K pink gold. This document, issued because the consistency of the movement number and case number correctly matched the headquarters' data, solidifies its value as a vintage watch.
Rare 18K Pink Gold Case
While yellow gold and stainless steel are common for antique and vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre watches, this model features a less common 18K pink gold case.
The warm hue unique to pink gold blends well with the skin, and the soft luster, characteristic of vintage pieces, elegantly adorns the wrist.
The case, with its sharp, mirror-polished lugs, has a diameter of 35.2mm, boasting a charming classic appearance. The crystal is domed, fitting the case shape beautifully.
Dial and Design Sophistication
The dial is meticulously finished with a delicate vertical hairline pattern, revealing beautiful lines depending on the angle of light and exuding a distinguished atmosphere.
The dial maintains its original condition from that era. The "SWISS" inscription can be seen at the edge of the 6 o'clock position (a spot extremely difficult to see, hidden in the shadow of the crystal), making this a valuable piece where the original design has been preserved down to the smallest detail.
The applied indices combine Arabic numerals (12, 3, 6, 9) with dot shapes, a refined design characteristic of LeCoultre.
Masterpiece Movement Cal.P478/C
The watch is equipped with Jaeger-LeCoultre's proud manual-winding masterpiece movement, Caliber P478/C. It features a central seconds hand, and "P" (Parachoc) indicates the shock-absorbing device that demonstrates the balance's impact resistance.
The movement is meticulously finished with a glossy, striped hairline pattern befitting a high-end timepiece, and its beauty is outstanding.
As expected from a LeCoultre, it is robust and reliable, and the smooth feel of the manual winding operation adds to its comfort.
Condition and Accessories
This watch has been overhauled.
The band is a new, high-quality CASSIS alligator leather strap, ready for comfortable wear. We carefully selected a flat, dark brown strap that complements the elegance of the 18K PG case.
The case is in relatively clean condition with minor scratches.
There are minor scratches on the crystal, but time legibility is good.
The dial has small smudges and a dent between the 5 and 6 o'clock positions, but considering its age from 1950, it is in excellent preserved condition.
【Please Note】
Due to its age, it is not waterproof. Please avoid wearing it on rainy or hot days and be careful with moisture and humidity. Also, please avoid impact and magnetic fields.
From the Owner: To the Next Keeper of this Watch
This timepiece is a rare specimen that, after more than 70 years since its manufacture in 1950, still retains its original elegance.
To ensure this historical value is properly passed down to future generations, we spent several months sending this very timepiece to the Jaeger-LeCoultre headquarters in Switzerland, and after rigorous appraisal, obtained its archive.
We hope for a wonderful connection with someone who understands the profound significance of this piece, not just as a "vintage watch," but as a "heritage" recognized by the manufacturer, and who will continue to cherish it with care.
Operating Instructions
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position.
How to Pull Out the Crown: Gently pull out the crown by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too forcefully may cause it to come off. Please pull it out gently. To prevent the crown from bending, remove the watch from your wrist before operating. Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown.
Setting the Time: Pull out the crown and turn it.
