商品説明
This is a hand-wound wristwatch by Vacheron Constantin, made of 18K yellow gold.
Purchased in 1976, it features a thin, round case made of K18 yellow gold and a domed crystal.
Hallmarks are engraved on the inside of the case back.
The dial has a 'nashi-ji finish' (pear skin finish) with fine grainy projections and a glossy finish.
At the 12 o'clock position, the brand's symbol, the Maltese Cross, is placed as an applied logo, and 'SWISS' is printed near the 6 o'clock position.
The bar indices, ultra-thin two hands, and mirror-finished case combine to create a refined dress watch.
The movement equipped is Cal.1014, designed without a second hand for thinness.
Based on Jaeger-LeCoultre's Cal.818, it features a shock-absorbing device called 'Flower Kif,' where the shock-absorbing spring appears flower-shaped.
Utilizing its thinness, it was manufactured as a leading caliber for high-end dress watches using solid gold cases.
How to Operate Caliber 1014
Hand-winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position.
Crown operation: When pulling out the crown, insert a fingernail between the case and the crown from the back.
Because the crown is half-embedded in the case, it may be difficult to pull out until you get used to it.
Please be careful not to pull the crown out too strongly, as it may detach.
Time setting: Pull out the crown and rotate it upwards.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and its exterior polished.
The strap has been replaced with a new CASSIS one, making it ready for comfortable wear.
The buckle is made of 18K yellow gold. On the back of the buckle, "0.750" indicating 18K gold and "AW Co." are engraved.
"AW Co." was a manufacturer that supplied buckles to Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, and others from the 1940s to the 1970s.
This buckle has the same shape as genuine Patek Philippe buckles from the same era.
The dial has very small spot-like stains, but no noticeable scratches or dirt, and is in beautiful condition considering its manufacturing year.
There are minor scratches on the crystal that could not be removed by polishing, but the legibility of the dial is good.
The crown is original and features the Maltese Cross logo.
This is a rare individual that comes with its original box and guarantee. The box has deterioration and damage on its surface.
The guarantee bears a purchase stamp from a domestic store in 1976 (Showa 51).
It was originally not waterproof. Strict prohibition of use in environments with high moisture (rainy days, while washing face, wearing on hot days with sweating, etc.).
As it is a precision instrument, please be careful to avoid drops and strong impacts.
Also, please be careful not to bring it close to strong magnetic sources such as smartphones, PCs, or bag clasps with magnets.
