商品説明
This is a 1968 Seamaster Ref. 166.010.
It features the same case design as the Seamaster Chronometer "168.024," with elegant curves around the lugs and sides.
It still has a modern feel almost half a century later.
The case back is a screw-back type, featuring the Seamaster symbol, a seahorse logo and Ω mark.
The crown surface is engraved with the "Ω" mark.
The movement installed is "Caliber 565."
It is designed similarly to "Caliber 564," which was adopted for high-end Constellation models, and is a high-quality caliber with the same specifications except for the chronometer function.
It supports manual winding and quick date setting, making it highly practical.
The dial has a radial finish.
It features applied bar indexes.
The hands are "Dauphine hands," shaped like the tip of a fountain pen.
Recommended for those looking for an elegant antique Omega.
How to Operate Caliber 565
How to pull the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent the crown from bending, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Gentle operation reduces stress on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards with the crown in the normal position
Time setting: Pull the crown and rotate downwards
The second hand does not stop (originally no hacking function)
Quick date setting: When the crown is pulled out to the second click, the date advances by one day
Operating quick date setting when the watch is between "9 PM and 3 AM" may cause damage.
It is recommended to set the time to around 6 AM before performing quick date setting.
To perform continuous quick date setting, you can move the crown back and forth between the second and first click positions.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished.
The crystal is genuine Omega with a faint Ω mark in the center.
There are minor scratches that could not be removed by polishing, but the dial visibility is good.
The crown is genuine. Time setting and manual winding operate smoothly.
The dial has some discoloration.
The hands have some tarnish.
The strap is new Morellato, providing a comfortable wearing experience.
The buckle has an Ω mark, but since there is no engraving on the back, it is believed to be aftermarket.
Due to its age, this watch is not waterproof. Strict avoidance of water-rich environments (rainy days, face washing, wearing on hot days when sweating, etc.) is essential.
As a precision instrument, please be careful of drops and strong impacts.
Also, please keep it away from strong magnetic fields such such as smartphones, PCs, and magnets on bag clasps.
