商品説明
This is the Ref. 167.070, the pinnacle of the Seamaster lineage, with chronometer specifications.
While the Ref. 168.024 (with date) is generally known as the official Seamaster chronometer model, this Ref. 167.070 is a very rare non-date model equipped with the legendary "Cal. 551" movement. In the high-end lines of the late 1960s, models with a "Seamaster Non-Date Chronometer" configuration were extremely scarce, making it truly unique.
The case, with its beautiful contrast between the hairline finish on the front and the mirror finish on the sides, features a screw-back case back. Inside the case back, the model's unique reference "165.070 / 167.070" is co-written, proving that it was an original manufacturer specification at the time. The dial has a radial finish and has aged beautifully into a champagne gold over time, with the chronometer title proudly engraved at the 12 o'clock position.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and its exterior has been refinished.
It is fitted with a rare crown bearing the "Ω" mark, and an original crystal, also with an Ω mark in the center. The crystal has high transparency due to a later replacement, and together with the overhauled movement, you can use it with comfort. The dullness of the tension ring and the overlapping around the "T SWISS MADE T" logo at 6 o'clock are due to minor specification changes resulting from the "standardization of part numbers (parts integration)" in the supply of genuine manufacturer parts in later years. This is not an aftermarket product, but rather proof that it has been properly maintained using only genuine Omega parts. Please rest assured that it does not affect practical legibility.
For the strap, we selected a new CASSIS "DUNKIRK" made of luxurious alligator leather. The lining is made of caoutchouc rubber (natural rubber), which helps prevent damage to the leather from unexpected moisture and keeps the strap clean for longer. Furthermore, it comes with a rare original Omega buckle.
*Due to the age of the watch, it is not waterproof. Do not use it in damp environments (rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot days when you sweat). Also, as it is a precision instrument, please be careful of strong impacts such as dropping it, and magnetism (smartphones, PCs, speakers, magnets in bags, etc.).
How to operate
How to pull out the crown: Gently pull out the crown by inserting your fingernail between the case and the crown.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come off. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist when operating.
Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards with the crown in the normal position.
Setting the time: Pull out the crown and rotate downwards.
