商品説明
This is a Lord Matic, a semi-luxury timepiece from Seiko, featuring a rare navy dial.
The Lord Matic was a high-grade model, ranking just below the Grand Seiko and King Seiko, and was a series primarily composed of one-piece case models.
This piece also features a "one-piece case" design, where the case and case back are integrated. By preventing sweat from entering from the back, it offers superior water resistance, and the "WATER RESISTANT" engraving on the case back reflects the high level of water protection for its time. (Please treat this as non-waterproof due to its age.)
The case and bezel feature a mirror finish.
The sides are crafted with a sleek, fluid design composed of two mirrored surfaces.
The dial is finished with a sunburst pattern, and its deep navy luster emerges beautifully depending on the angle of the light.
A notable design feature is that the minute markers are arranged alongside the indices on a gray ring, providing a much more subdued, chic, and sophisticated look than standard all-white printing.
This model is equipped with an automatic movement.
It is highly practical, featuring hand-winding, hacking (seconds-hand stop), date and day display, bilingual day display (Japanese/English), and a quick-set calendar function.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been refurbished.
Although manufactured in 1972 (Showa 47), it has been preserved in excellent condition despite being over half a century old.
The bracelet is an original, rare version with the LM engraving, fitting wrists up to a maximum of 180mm.
Due to its age, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days or during hot, sweaty weather.
Additionally, as this is an antique item, please be careful to avoid shocks and magnetic fields.
Operating Instructions
Pulling the crown: From the back, insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out.
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating it.
Handling it gently will reduce stress on the crown.
Hand-winding: With the crown in the normal position, rotate upwards.
Setting the time: Pull the crown out two clicks and rotate downwards.
When pulled out two clicks, the second hand will stop.
Quick-set date: Pull the crown out one click and rotate downwards.
Quick-set day: Pull the crown out one click and rotate upwards (cycles from English to Japanese).
Attempting to use the quick-set function while the watch hands are between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM may cause damage.
We recommend setting the time to around 6 o'clock before performing any quick-set operations.
