商品説明
This is the "Ricoh Dynamic Auto," the first 33-jewel wristwatch released in Japan.
The Dynamic Auto 33-jewel was priced at 9,500 yen at a time when the starting salary for a university graduate was 15,700 yen. (33 jewels, gold-plated case)
As it set a trend that led manufacturers to successively develop high-jewel models, it can be called a masterpiece that remains in the history of Japanese wristwatches.
The dial is a silver radial-finished dial. Due to age-related discoloration, it has changed to a deep, champagne gold-like hue, exuding a character unique to vintage timepieces.
Particularly noteworthy is the index design; the outer edge of the dial features pyramid-shaped decorations, which, combined with the faceted, mirror-finished bar indices, create a beautiful sparkle depending on the angle of the light.
The hands feature a three-dimensional mountain shape (dolphin hands).
The sharp, decorative-free construction further highlights the delicate details of the dial.
The case is gold-plated (F.G.P.) and the case back is stainless steel.
The brand logo, model name, and model number 57106 are clearly engraved on the case back.
The crown is the original Ricoh part bearing the "R" logo. Equipped with a luxurious 33-jewel movement, this piece possesses an antique elegance not found in modern watches.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
The strap has been replaced with a brand-new one from Morellato, so you can wear it with comfort.
The crown is the original Ricoh part with the "R" logo. Although there are small scuffs on the crown, we have kept this precious original part from that era.
The case shows scuffs and small scratches from use, as well as some plating wear on the lugs, but considering its age, there is no critical damage, and it retains a fine vintage aesthetic.
The engravings on the case back remain deep, and it is in excellent condition considering its age.
Because this is a vintage watch, it is not waterproof. Use in wet environments (such as on rainy days, while washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days) is strictly prohibited.
Additionally, as it is a precision machine, please be very careful to avoid strong impacts such as drops, and exposure to magnetism (smartphones, PCs, speakers, bag magnets, etc.).
Operating Instructions
Manual Winding: Rotate upward while the crown is in the normal position
How to pull the crown: Insert your fingernail between the case and the crown and pull gently
Pulling the crown too hard may cause it to come out. Please pull it out gently.
To prevent bending the crown, please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Operating gently reduces the strain on the crown.
Setting the Time: Pull the crown out and rotate downward
The second hand does not stop
Date Quick-set: Pull the crown out and move the hands back and forth between '9:00 PM and 12:05 AM'
1) Move the hands forward until the date changes to confirm it is midnight.
If the date changes, it is 12:00 AM; if it does not, it is 12:00 PM.
2) Move the hands to 12:05 AM to advance the date. Then, turn the hands back to 9:00 PM.
3) Advance the hands to 12:05 AM again.
Confirm that the date has advanced by one day.
Repeat this process to quick-set the date one day at a time.
Please perform this operation slowly to reduce the strain on the movement.
