商品説明
King Seiko was a top-tier series, positioned alongside Seiko's premium Grand Seiko line, and was manufactured until the 1970s.
This is a King Seiko "VANAC".
The VANAC is characterized by its colorful appearance, featuring cut glass and a gradient dial.
There is a wide variety of cut-glass facets and dial color variations, making it rare to find identical pieces in circulation.
This particular piece features 9-facet cut glass and a brown gradient dial.
Manufactured in 1973 (Showa 48), this model boasts beautiful coloring that transitions from a deep, calm brown to gold towards the center. The synergistic effect with the multi-faceted cut glass dramatically changes its expression depending on the viewing angle, which is a major appeal.
The movement is the King Seiko third-generation Cal.5626B from the 56 series.
It features automatic winding with manual winding, a hacking seconds function, and a quick-set date and day function, making it highly practical.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished.
The bracelet is a rare genuine item, with "VANAC" engraved on the buckle.
It fits wrists up to approximately 18.4cm, and the generous sizing is a significant advantage.
The buckle has some hairline scratches from use and a small dent on the side, but these do not affect wearability.
The crown is engraved with "KS," exclusive to King Seiko.
The case back is engraved with "SEIKO KS" as well as the model number and serial number.
The cut glass has minor scratches commensurate with its age, but its clarity is high, and the legibility of the dial is good.
As this is a vintage watch, it is not water-resistant. Do not use it in damp environments (e.g., on rainy days, when washing your face, or on hot, sweaty days).
Also, as it is a precision instrument, please be careful of strong impacts such as dropping it, and magnetic fields (smartphones, PCs, speakers, bag magnets, etc.).
How to operate

Quick-set date: Pull the crown out one click and turn it downwards
Quick-set day: Pull the crown out one click and turn it upwards (changes from English to Japanese in order)
