商品説明
This is Seiko's semi-luxury watch, the 'Lord Matic'.
The Lord Matic was a popular series representing Seiko in the 1970s, positioned as a luxury model second only to Grand Seiko and King Seiko.
The Ref. 5606-8100 is a model that combines the powerful aesthetic characteristic of the mid-1970s with a refined, integrated design.
The lugs are designed to cover the bracelet attachment area from the front of the case. The flowing, integrated feel from the case to the bracelet highlights the unique, solid silhouette of this model.
The case back features a screw-back (screw-down case back) specification, which offers excellent maintainability. This detail also represents a transitional period in design during the 1970s, as watches moved from one-piece cases to more practical structures.
The dial is a vibrant gold (orange-tinted). It features a hairline finish, displaying a variety of expressions from deep amber to bright golden gleam depending on the angle of light.
The crystal has been replaced with a rare genuine Seiko, unused (dead stock) 12-sided cut glass. These 12 facets are meticulously designed to align with each index, going beyond mere decoration to give the dial three-dimensionality and rhythm, acting as a "second dial." The clear brilliance unique to dead stock genuine glass is revived, and the refraction of light links with the sparkle of the indexes.
This model is equipped with an automatic movement.
It is a highly practical model, featuring manual winding, hacking seconds, date and day display, day display in two languages (Japanese/English), and a quick-set calendar function.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and the exterior has been polished.
We carefully polished it in-house to preserve the original form. The mirror-finished parts, polished to a sharp edge, further enhance the sleek form and robust quality characteristic of the 70s.
The bracelet is original Lord Matic and can accommodate wrist sizes up to 182mm (including extension plates).
The "LM" logo is engraved on the buckle, maintaining its originality from that era.
There are minor scratches on the case, but overall it remains in a beautiful condition, strongly retaining its original character.
As this is an older watch, it is not water-resistant. It must not be used in environments with a lot of moisture (e.g., on rainy days, when washing your face, or during hot weather when you sweat).
Also, as it is a precision instrument, please be very careful to protect it from strong impacts such as dropping, and from magnetic fields (smartphones, PCs, speakers, bag magnets, etc.).
How to Operate
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards in the normal positionTime setting: Pull the crown out to the second click and rotate downwards
