商品説明
This is a 1969 45KS (King Seiko) stainless steel case model with a date function.
The 45KS was the first King Seiko model to feature a 10-beat high-beat movement.
At a time when Seiko was at the forefront of the precision competition, it was known as a thin, high-end timepiece that incorporated high-beat technology, cultivated in Swiss competitions, into a commercially available model.
It is equipped with the 10-beat Cal. 4502A movement.
It boasts practical specifications, including a hacking (stop-seconds) function.
The crown is an original part with a "KS" engraving.
With a large diameter of 5.6mm, it offers an excellent grip, allowing you to smoothly enjoy the feel of manual winding unique to a high-beat movement.
How to Operate
Manual Winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position.
Please wind it slowly and carefully.
Winding it only 10 to 20 times will not ensure stable operation.
Wind it thoroughly until it is close to fully wound (until it becomes stiff).
Please be careful not to force it, as continuous excessive winding can break the mainspring.
Time Setting: Pull the crown out two clicks and rotate (the second hand will stop).
Date Quick Set: Pull the crown out one click and rotate upwards.
Operating the quick set between 9 PM and 3 AM can cause damage.
It is recommended to set the time to around 6 AM/PM before operating.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
Exterior:
The case has been polished, maintaining the sharp, edgy form characteristic of the 45KS.
The medallion on the case back is in excellent condition, with the golden luster and sharp edges of the engraving well preserved. The engraving on the case back itself also remains deep.
Dial:
It features a glossy sunray finish.
There is some dirt on the edges, and slight discoloration and fine spots overall, but to the naked eye, these blend in as a calm, antique atmosphere and do not significantly impair legibility.
Crystal:
It is clear with no major visible scratches.
Strap:
It has been replaced with a new genuine Seiko strap.
As this is an old watch, it is not waterproof. Do not use it in damp environments (rainy days, while washing your face, wearing it on hot, sweaty days, etc.).
Also, as it is a precision instrument, please be very careful of strong impacts such as dropping it, and magnetic fields (smartphones, PCs, speakers, bag magnets, etc.).
