商品説明
This is a 1968 Omega Constellation.
While Constellations from the same period often feature the C-line case designed by Gerald Genta, this particular model has a slim round case with no date display.
It is equipped with the slim automatic movement 'Cal.712'.
This high-precision caliber passed chronometer certification, and it was the thinnest automatic movement among Omega's chronometer-certified models at the time.
Its no-date, slim structure, which doesn't require a date disc, perfectly complements the elegant dress watch style.
The dial features a delicate sunburst finish, which radiates a beautiful glow depending on the angle of light.
The entire dial has aged to a beautiful champagne gold, exuding a superb atmosphere unique to vintage watches that cannot be found in modern products.
The case measures 33mm in diameter, offering an appealingly small size that sits comfortably on the wrist, unlike contemporary watches.
This watch is recommended for those seeking an elegant vintage Omega or a slim dress watch that fits neatly under the cuff of a suit or shirt.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled and its exterior has been polished.
The bracelet is a rare genuine Omega stainless steel mesh bracelet.
While there are minor scratches and scuffs due to age, and slight signs of use on the underside, the Ω logo on the clasp (buckle) remains clearly visible, and there is no hindrance to wear.
The crown is genuine Omega, with the Ω logo.
Both winding the crown and setting the time operate smoothly.
The crystal is also genuine Omega, with a subtle Ω mark etched in the center.
There are practical, minor scratches that could not be removed by polishing, but the legibility of the dial is good.
The dial shows a beautiful champagne gold discoloration and slight changes to the indexes and hands due to aging, but there are no prominent stains or deterioration, maintaining a very clean condition considering its age.
There are minor scratches on the case, lugs, and case back that could not be removed during finishing, but there is no excessive polishing (thinning) that would detract from the vintage aesthetic.
As this is an old vintage watch, it is not waterproof.
Please avoid wearing it on rainy days, during the rainy season, or in summer.
Also, please be careful of impacts and magnetic fields (smartphones, PCs, magnets in bags, etc.).
How to Operate
To pull out the crown: Insert your fingernail between the case and the crown and gently pull it out.
*To prevent the crown from bending, always remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Gentle operation can reduce stress on the crown and movement.
Manual winding: Rotate the crown upwards (towards 12 o'clock) in its normal position.
Time setting: Pull out the crown and rotate it downwards (towards 6 o'clock).
