商品説明
This is a hand-wound 'Longines' pocket watch purchased around 1984.
This is an elegant dress pocket watch that strongly retains the traditional style of Longines, which has a history dating back to 1832.
It is equipped with the renowned hand-wound "Cal.L878.4" movement, which features meticulous Côtes de Genève and perlage finishing.
The case is a classic hunter case (with a front cover) specification, which protects the crystal with an openable and closable front lid.
The front lid opens by pressing the crown button, making it easy to use, and it is equipped with an intricately decorated onion-shaped crown (onion crown).
*When closing the front lid, you can reduce wear on the locking mechanism by operating it while pressing the crown button.
The dial is glossy white, with a highly legible design featuring large Arabic numerals.
The clean two-hand (no seconds hand) specification enhances the beauty of the dial, and the beautiful blue Breguet hands create a dignified classic style.
This is a rare full set that is highly recommended for collectors, as it includes the original outer and inner boxes, a guarantee (warranty card) with the domestic retailer's information, a price tag showing the original price (185,000 yen), as well as the genuine leather pouch and even the braided cord.
This is a masterpiece that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality vintage pocket watch.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
Extremely fine cracks are visible on the surface of the dial at the 4 o'clock position (near the bottom of the index). This is a characteristic age-related change often seen in enamel-style dials of that era, and it is only noticeable depending on the lighting and angle. It does not significantly impair the aesthetic appeal or legibility from the front, but please understand it as a unique characteristic of vintage items.
There are minor storage scuffs and very faint hairline scratches on the case, case back, and crystal, but there are no noticeable deep scratches or peeling of the gold plating. Considering its manufacturing age, it remains in exceptionally clean overall condition.
Although it has a hinged lid structure, it was not originally a waterproof watch.
No waterproof guarantee. Please use it while avoiding water, moisture, and sweat.
As it is a precision instrument, please also be careful of strong impacts and magnetism.
How to operate
How to open the front lid: Press the button on the crown
Hand-winding: Rotate the crown upwards in its normal position
When winding the mainspring, turn the crown slowly and carefully.
At the beginning of winding, the crown may feel light when turned, but it will become heavier as it winds up.
With hand-wound watches, forcing the winding when it is fully wound will break the mainspring. Please be careful.
How to pull out the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and move it like a lever
Time setting: Pull the crown out and turn it
