商品説明
This is a Day-Date model of Omega's high-grade Constellation C-Line series.
This particular piece is a highly elegant model, featuring a sharp stainless steel case complemented beautifully by a delicate silk-pattern (mosaic) dial.
The C-Line refers to the case design created by the legendary watch designer Gerald Genta.
It is also famous as his greatest masterpiece.
It is characterized by a beautiful, flowing design where the case and lugs are integrated, maintaining a modern aesthetic even after nearly half a century.
The case back is a screw-back type and features the observatory emblem, the symbol of the Constellation line.
The surface of the crown is engraved with the "Ω" mark, and the center of the crystal features the "Ω" etched logo.
The dial features a diagonal silk pattern with a polished finish, creating a beautiful luster that changes with the angle of the light.
At the 12 o'clock position on the dial is the inscription "CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED," a testament to its certification by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (C.O.S.C.).
The Constellation's iconic star symbol is applied at the 6 o'clock position, serving as an accent to the dial design.
It is powered by the Caliber 751 movement.
This is a distinguished chronometer-certified caliber, which was reserved exclusively for high-end models in the lineup at the time.
The movement bears the engraving "ADJUSTED FIVE (5) POSITIONS AND TEMPERATURE," indicating its calibration for five positions and temperature variances.
The entire movement is finished in red gold plating, exuding the prestige of a high-end timepiece.
This is a luxurious model combining a refined C-Line case, a day-date function, and a beautiful silk-pattern dial.
Highly recommended for those seeking a high-quality vintage Omega.
Condition
This watch has been overhauled.
To preserve its original character, the case has not undergone excessive refinishing (polishing), leaving natural light scratches intact.
The strap has been replaced with a chic black new genuine cowhide strap (made by CASSIS) (19mm width). The buckle is an aftermarket part.
The crystal is a genuine Omega piece with the Ω etched mark in the center.
While there are micro-scratches that could not be removed through polishing, they do not impair visibility, and the crystal is in relatively good condition.
Crown operation is smooth.
[Regarding Exterior Condition]
There is a noticeable dent on the 2 o'clock side of the case (near the upper right lug) and vintage-specific corrosion marks on the edge of the bezel at the 1 o'clock position. Please review the detailed images before considering your purchase.
The "face" of the watch, the dial (silk-pattern silver dial), is maintained in extremely beautiful condition with only light scuffs and almost no visible signs of aging.
As this is a vintage timepiece, it is not waterproof. Use in high-moisture environments (rainy days, washing your face, or during hot days causing perspiration) is strictly prohibited.
As it is a precision instrument, please be careful to avoid drops or strong impacts.
Also, please be careful not to bring it near strong magnetic sources such as smartphones, PCs, or bag clasps with magnets.
Operating Instructions
How to pull out the crown: Insert a fingernail between the case and the crown and move it like a lever.
It is easier to pull the crown by inserting your fingernail between the crown and the case from the back side.
Please remove the watch from your wrist before operating.
Operating gently reduces the burden on the crown and prevents it from pulling out completely.
Manual winding: Rotate upwards in the normal crown position.
Setting the time: Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate downwards.
The second hand does not stop.
Quick-set date: Pull the crown out to the second click.
If you wish to advance the date repeatedly, you can do so by alternating between the second and first click positions.
Operating the quick-set date while the watch hands are between "9:00 PM and 3:00 AM" will cause damage.
It is recommended to set the time to around 6:00 before performing the quick-set operation.
Quick-set day: None
There is no quick-set function for the day; please set it by rotating the hour hand through two full rotations (24 hours).
